झांसी की रानी

झांसी की रानी "लक्ष्मीबाई" की मुहर जिसे दरबारी फ़रमान में इस्तेमाल किया जाता था हालांकि रानी लक्ष्मीबाई बाई शासनकाल बहुत कम दिनों ही रहा 1857 की क्रांति में अंग्रेजों के खिलाफ लड़ते हुए शहीद हो गईं थी। 1857 की क्रांति में ना तो मुग़ल बादशाह बहादुर शाह ज़फ़र का साथ हिंदुस्तान के किसी रियासत ने दिया और ना ही रानी लक्ष्मीबाई का सिवाय तात्या टोपे और बाँदा के नवाब थे जिन्होंने रानी लक्ष्मीबाई का साथ दिया। अलबत्ता सिंधिया जैसे राजाओं ने लक्ष्मीबाई के खिलाफ अंग्रेजों की मदद की थी। आज रानी लक्ष्मीबाई बाई का जन्मदिन है आज ही के दिन 19 नवम्बर 1828 को बनारस में पैदाइश हुई।
